We, the loyal members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, want to take this moment to express our deep appreciation to Engr Kale Kawu, Dan’iya of Ilorin. Indeed, you’ve shown us what it means to be a true leader, not by mere words or position, but through action and real support. In the recently concluded local government elections, we appreciate your financial backing and unwavering commitment which helped our party and candidates. Without your effort, many of our candidates wouldn’t have had the chance to have a successful campaign or to contest. We send our sincere appreciation.
While some only care about their selfish ambitions, Engr Kale Kawu has been at the forefront, making sure our party stays strong. He has been the backbone of the PDP in Kwara State, always willing to sacrifice for the good of the party. We are proud of what you have done, and we see it. You are not like some people who are only after positions and power without contributing anything meaningful to the growth of the party.
Unlike people that claim to be sarakites for 16 years, some of whom benefitted from the largesse of our leader, rose to be speaker and house of representatives members but what have they done for the party? one has been out there, focusing only on his personal dreams of becoming governor, using his old position as Speaker to fool people into thinking he deserves it. He hasn’t helped us at the grassroots, hasn’t funded any projects, and hasn’t shown any commitment to the party’s progress. All he does is talk about his time as Speaker, thinking that will earn him the PDP’s gubernatorial ticket. But we know better.
Engr Kale Kawu is a leader we can trust. While Ali Ahmad stays in the shadows, only showing up when it’s convenient for his ambitions, you, Engr Kale Kawu, has been working for the betterment of the party and the people. You don’t just talk; you take action. You’ve been there for us when it mattered the most, and for that, we stand with you.
We, the members of the PDP in Kwara State, must not allow Ali Ahmad to deceive us. He doesn’t have the interests of the party at heart. He’s only concerned about his own political gains. We can’t afford to let someone who has abandoned the party now come back and try to take the leadership. The PDP needs leaders like Engr Kale Kawu, people who are ready to support the party and ensure we succeed in every election.
As we plan towards 2027, Engr Kale Kawu has our supports. For this, we say a big thank you.
As the 2027 elections approach, we need to rally behind those who have shown genuine commitment to our cause. Engr Kale Kawu is the man for the job. He has stood by us, and we will stand by him. Let’s reject the selfish, opportunistic behavior of people like Ali Ahmad, who only care about themselves.
